KBC ENgage Energy Methodology
The KBC ENgage methodology is a comprehensive approach to achieving continuous improvement in energy performance. Through this programme, KBC addresses every facet of energy management from the identification of all viable energy improvement projects, through implementation and long-term sustainment of benefits. We consider zero to low cost investment improvement opportunities, economic infrastructure improvements, and behavioural components to create an energy-focused organisation.

Two major activities combine to form the KBC ENgage approach – the Strategic Energy Review and the Energy Management System.

The Strategic Energy Review (SER) is the first step. An SERincorporates a number of activities ranging from benchmarking to gap analysis, valuation of energy opportunity identification, metric identification, and RoadMap development. In this phase, we aim to understand the energy situation at the client site to determine the best strategic plan for that site and identify all operational and investment improvement opportunities.

A tailor-made, client-focused Energy Management System (EMS) follows the SER. The EMS incorporates improved Best Practices, improved organisational alignment, monitoring and reporting tools. This phase enables the client to implement and sustain the energy optimisation ideas from the SER.
