A ProSteam model allows the client to make decisions regarding operating policies, and it also helps in evaluating the cost and benefit of different co-generation configurations, control strategies, and energy contract options. The programme also helps calculate the break-even point of power generation at varying gas and electricity prices, turbine loads, and more. ProSteam is available as a stand alone tool kit incorporating a model builder or an on-line optimiser.
