| ALK-SIM |
| ALK-SIM™ is a comprehensive software model that simulates both HF and sulfuric acid alkylation units. With ALK-SIM, you can identify operating improvements by monitoring daily operations and evaluating alternative unit operating strategies. ALK-SIM calculates iso-olefin ratio, residence time, and product flowrates and composition. Alkylate product RONC and MONC values and byproduct flowrates are reported. Fixed operating costs, product values, and feed costs can be used to calculate a net operating profit. For specified feeds, operating conditions and constraints, ALK-SIM determines resulting product flows and properties. You can evaluate the economic tradeoffs of alternative alkylation operations and determine the effects of new feeds to the unit.
