| FCC-SIM™ is a comprehensive, kinetic-based software model that accurately simulates commercial fluid catalytic cracking units. FCC-SIM can be used to investigate changes in operating parameters such as feed temperature, riser outlet temperature, unit pressure, regenerator air rate, flue gas content, feed quality and rate, alternative catalysts and additives. It has an optimisation function that allows a user to maximise an economic objective function subject to unit constraints. FCC-SIM models a variety of reactor/regenerator system designs from various licensors, and a wide range of configurations. It can be configured for multiple feeds and recycles, multiple feed injection locations, dual risers, and dual regenerator configurations.
