Olefin-SIM
Olefin-SIM™ lets you model the entire steam cracking complex, from the pyrolysis furnace through final product. You can model and optimise pyrolysis furnaces using the Lummus furnace model incorporated within the Petro-SIM flowsheeting environment. The furnace models include roll radiant, convection, quench, and coking models and can be tailored to a wide variety of systems.

The model can accurately process all common feedstocks including ethane, LPG, naphtha, kerosene, and gasoils to HVGO (including processed feedstocks). The model is also able to handle olefinic feedstocks, raffinates, and virtually any feedstock processed in a steam cracker.

Within Petro-SIM, you can model the effluent separation, as well as integrate the steam cracking system with other petrochemicals processes, refineries, or upstream processes.

Olefin-SIM is only available within Petro-SIM™ and Petro-SIM Express.
